Popular fish speciies on Bob Sandlin Lake include Largemouth Bass, Catfish and Crappie.  Rainbow trout are stock at the park in the winter months.

Bob Sandlin Lake is home to a large variety of birds and wildlife.  During the winter months, eagles can be spotted.
